"I met Ally through glorious friendship at 12 years old in the midst of middle school, a treacherous time for youngsters. We bonded over boxy boxes, a pink panther phone, and writing songs about tacos that just. Wouldn't. Quit. (Too legit to some would say). We continued this bountiful friendship to present day where now we bond over Constable Jenkins (a known hero and scholar), eating as much ramen as humanly possible, and a video of a powerful young man Butthole Johnson that just. Won't. Quit. I met Gage somewhere."

"Vanessa and Ally became friends during the insanity of COVID, when the best way to deal with life was play pretend with people on the internet. They clicked instantly, and have been basically inseparable since."
-Vanessa Rosenfeld, Bridesmaid
I hopped into Ally’s life when we both started working at Joann Fabrics (RIP). We had met in passing previously due to our siblings being in the same grade/classes, and had just assumed the other was a young angsty teenager. Turns out we were just angsty early 20-ish year olds.
We bonded over our love of anime, music, weird things, and coloring our hair ourselves much to the chagrin of our mothers and our hairdressers for many years to come.
We’ve been friends for over 15 years, and coworkers through all of that in at least 5 different jobs. Together we’ve survived a panini, bad breakups, bad haircuts, and general bad life choices. But we’ve also been there to support each other through big moves, life changes, joyful life moments, big adventures, small adventures, and lived our best lives in comfy clothes on the couch on wine nights yelling at Zak Bagans on the TV. No one allows for a safe space to just sit and be better than she does. I can’t wait to support Allison and Gage on this next big adventure together. ♥️

"In the darkest months of 2020, Sam stumbled across a beacon of nerdy joy: an online community of FLINTA* gamers called Ladies of D&D. Ally was one of the co-founders and starred in a weekly live-streamed game (GM’ed by Vanessa!), which Sam was eventually invited to join. Our characters quickly bonded by collecting bones for jewelry, eating lots of cheese, and generally bro-ing out. It didn’t take long to realize our irl selves also enjoyed doing these activities together. From comparing phthalo green paint shades and reading spooky fiction, to exchanging furby memes and howling at the moon moon, we bring a special brand of chaos to the world. Sam is so honored and excited to celebrate Ally and Gage as they take this step together."

"I'm Vincent! I've been friends with Ally since 2015, when we met through her stint in stand-up comedy. We became fast friends and eventually she got me started going to cosplay conventions, which to say that sent my life in a new direction is an understatement. In 2019, after years of planning, Ally, Katie and I went on a trip to Japan, an unforgettable experience that cemented us as lifelong pals. I am honored and very excited to be part of her bridal party!"

"It all began many, many moons ago — in a different realm entirely. Gage and I weren’t yet the refined creatures you see before you today. No, back then we were but humble toads, living among the frog people of the Great Lilypad Plains. The frogs never truly accepted us — we were outsiders, rebels, dreamers who refused to croak in unison with the rest.
Legend has it that the first time our eyes met, the moon was full, the pond was calm, and the night air hummed with the whispers of bullfrogs long past. Gage said, “Rib.” I replied, “Lit.” And thus, Rib-Lit was born — a bond stronger than pond scum and thicker than the finest algae film. Together, we brought chaos, laughter, and a faint scent of pond water wherever we went.
But peace never lasts in the wetlands. The Frog Council deemed us “too radical” — said we were upsetting the natural order. Forced into exile, we took to the murky outskirts, where the outcasts dwell. There, we founded a brotherhood: The Biker Bois. A fearsome band of misfit toads with tiny leather vests and acorn helmets. We lived fast and croaked loudly.
For a time, life was good. Until one fateful day, as we were basking under the cattails, Gage began to speak of someone — a toadette from across the pond. He called her Ally. Said she had spots that shimmered like dew and a hop that could make a heron weep. I’ll admit, I was skeptical. Love across the pond is never simple. But there was a glimmer in his eye, a ribbit in his throat that told me this was different.
Days turned into weeks, and before long, Ally was among us. She was cool — calm, collected, and oddly good at art revolved around raccoons. The Biker Bois approved, which was no small feat. Slowly but surely, Gage began spending more time with Ally, less with the gang. Our lily pad felt emptier, our late-night croak sessions quieter.
Eventually, Gage and Ally leapt into a new chapter together — moving into their own cozy corner of the swamp. The Biker Bois had to split their time, drifting between memories of the old days and joy for Gage’s newfound happiness."
